Expression of interest to participate in stakeholder consultations on national point of referral – now open

The National Office for Child Safety (National Office) is undertaking a public consultation process to inform the design and delivery of National Action Plan Measure 7 (NAP 7) under the National Strategy to Prevent and Respond to Child Sexual Abuse 2020‑2031 (National Strategy).

NAP 7 will establish a national point of referral to help victims and survivors of child sexual abuse, practitioners and the general public to navigate the service system and access information, resources and support services. The National Office is seeking feedback from diverse stakeholders on how best to design a referral service that meets people’s needs.

Consultations may include in-person or virtual workshops, in-depth interviews, confidential surveys, focus group discussions, written correspondence or other consultation mechanisms and are expected to be held from October – November 2023.

More information and instructions on how to submit an expression of interest can be found on our Consultations page.
