We engaged the Australian Centre for Child Protection at the University of South Australia to develop the national Minimum Practice Standards: Specialist and Community Support Services Responding to Child Sexual Abuse, which are now available.
We commissioned the University of Canberra News and Media Research Centre to develop evidence-based media guides to encourage responsible reporting on child sexual abuse and support victims and survivors engaging with the media.
The National Office for Child Safety developed a suite of risk resources to support organisations to understand how to appropriately manage child safety risks. These resources align with and support implementation of the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
We have published summaries of public consultation outcomes on the development of 2 new national services under the National Strategy to Prevent and Respond to Child Sexual Abuse 2021-2030.
The Attorney-General’s Department has published its Annual Procurement Plan on AusTender. It includes 3 open tenders that we expect to release on AusTender in the first quarter of 2023–24.
