This video presents aspects of safety from the lived experience of children and young people with disability. It covers access and inclusion, communication needs and preferences, visible and invisible disability, online safety, cultural safety, identity, rights, respect, consent, and child abuse, including child sexual abuse.

This video talks about research that found children and young people with disability are 3 to 4 times more likely than their peers without disability to experience physical violence, emotional abuse, neglect and sexual violence from staff, volunteers and other children and young people when engaging with organisations.

This video has information for children, young people and caregivers about their right to safety in an organisation. It equips them with the tools and knowledge to self-advocate.
